"I am still learning." - Michelangelo.
4 of the simplest yet most powerful words. Write them down. Keep them somewhere you can look back at on the hard days. Repeat them back to yourself and breathe them in. You are still learning. You are always still learning. And isn't it so beautiful? It is so amazing to celebrate the victories in life. Celebrate them hard. But isn't it also okay to celebrate the failures? What if we talked about our failures more. What if we talked about them the way we talked about our victories. Because guess what? We're all failing all the time. What if instead of being shameful about our losses, and our scars, and our defeats, and our failures, we celebrated them like victories. What if instead of asking someone what went well with their week, we asked them what they failed at. Because every scar, every defeat, every loss & every failure is just proof that you're human, and that you're learning and growing and pushing yourself to not stay static. And it's amazing. It's proof that you survived + that you're walking away stronger + wiser. You can't grow new skin if you don't fall down + scrape your knees. Your struggles are just as much a part of your story as your victories. Without them, your victories wouldn't be victories. Embrace the messiness of learning and the process of growth. Celebrate your victories and your failures and recognize the success in both. You are still learning and it's such a beautiful thing. Part of believing you are so worth loving is resting in that you are continuing to learn.
