congratulations 46 — president @joebiden
+ the first woman vice president @kamalaharris
brighter days ahead! let us continue the momentum of all the social and racial justice movements that we had this year.
he may not have been my 1st choice— no politician is perfect, but i do believe he was the right choice for right now! glad to have elected a president who can acknowledge that #blacklivesmatter and recognizes errors in his past in re: to racial/social justice, but has promised to take steps forward to addressing these deep rooted issues of systemic racism. it is now up to us to continue fighting and holding federal + local elected officials, police, and one another accountable! the fight to #endsystemicracism #defundthepolice and address the ongoing oppression of black, indigenous and POC is just beginning, and am so happy that our country will be doing so with @joebiden
big thanks to everyone who used their platform to educate and encourage others to vote, and vote early! and to all those who text/phone banked, had convos w family members, groupchat w friends, and provided resources to friends/fam/followers.
our work here is not done yet let’s keep the momentum going — we have the opportunity to continue trying to flip the senate with @jonossoff
in Georgia for the Jan 5th Senate Runoff election!
